You’re invited to start the New Year in a positive way by helping care for a homeless animal. Santa Cruz County Animal Services is looking for volunteers interested in being Foster Caretakers for needy dogs, cats and other pets. You help provide food, care and socialization for young or sick animals; the animals give back more love than you can imagine. If you’re interested, plan on attending one of the upcoming Information Sessions: Saturday, February 5th from 10am-noon, Tuesday, February 8th from 5:30-7:30pm, Saturday, March 19th from 10am-noon or Tuesday, March 22nd from 5:30-7:30pm.
Please email your RSVP to: [email protected] with your name, telephone number, and which Information Session class you wish to attend. Space in each class is limited to 30 participants. You will receive an email back within 72 hours confirming your spot in the class. Volunteer Information sessions and Orientations are held at Santa Cruz County Animal Services, 2200 7th Avenue in Santa Cruz.
