Although he only completed three studio albums before his passing, Jimi Hendrix was a prolific recorder. After decades of legal entanglements, his estate is releasing new live and studio music from the guitar master and will do so for many years to come. Promised in the near future: the historic sessions done with Stephen Stills. Now available: Valleys of Neptune, a mix of unreleased studio versions of familiar songs (Hear My Train A Comin’, Sunshine of Your Love, etc.) and new tunes (Mr. Bad Luck, Crying Blue Rain, etc.).
