The Santa Cruz Bluegrass Society presents the 24th Annual Santa Cruz Bluegrass Fair this Saturday, May 1, Noon-5:00pm at the Duck Pond Stage in San Lorenzo Park, downtown Santa Cruz. This free event kicks off International Bluegrass Month (May) featuring performances by five bands (Harmony Grits, Mountain Drive, Down Beets, Family Hogwash, Faux Renwah) and plenty of space for jamming. Bring instruments, a lawn chair or blanket, a hat and sunscreen. Bluegrass music is featured regularly at KZSC on Backroads, Sundays noon-2pm.
