On Saturday, September 25th, from 9 am to noon, Save Our Shores will coordinate over 6,000 volunteers in Santa Cruz and Monterey Counties. These local efforts are part of a larger state-wide event, in which cleanups will be held at over 750 sites throughout California. The Cleanup, organized state-wide by the California Coastal Commission and locally by Save Our Shores, brings tens of thousands of volunteers to the state’s beaches and waterways to remove pollution before it enters the ocean.
