Here at KZSC we have a library filled with tens of thousands of cds of every genre under the sun. However, like all libraries, it is impossible to have everything. That’s why I am very happy to announce the arrival of two greatest hits compilations of some rockabilly legends, Buddy Holly and Eddie Cochran.
Buddy Holly’s Gold is a two disc set jam packed with 50 hits that are sure to get you dancing in no time. Here is a video of Holly performing Peggy Sue, a 1957 single that is currently ranked as the 100th greatest song of all time by Acclaimed Music.
Eddie Cochran’s Somethin’ Else is a compilation of 32 of Cochran’s greatest hits. This 1958 hit, Summertime Blues, is one of Cochran’s most iconic songs, and has been covered by bands, like The Who and The Beach Boys, as well as by many others.
