The UC Santa Cruz men’s basketball team is hosting the Division III Independents Tournament this weekend at the College 8 West Field House. This is the first post-season playoff tournament hosted by UCSC since the renovation of the beautiful College 8 West Field House. On Friday the Slugs will tip off against the Wesleyan-Nebraska Prairie Wolves at 7 PM; the winner takes on either Chapman University or the University of Dallas Saturday night. You’re invited to come see playoff basketball and support seniors Ryan Matsuoka and Darrin Lew in their final games at UCSC.
