Red Elvises Return!

Igor Yuzov and Oleg Bernov met during a Russian-American peace walk and subsequently began playing together in a Russian folk-rock band. How that morphed into including rockabilly, surf music and American rock & roll featuring a big red balalaika bass is a long story. The Red Elvises also had acting roles and provided most of the music for the cult film classic “Six-String Samurai” One look at this video and you’ll see the Red Ones can work a crowd like nobody’s business.

The Red Elvises will grab your attention Sunday, March 13th at Moe’s Alley in Santa Cruz. Doors open at 7:30 pm. Dah comrade, wear red.
