As KZSC stretched like Stretch Armstrong towards our March On-Air Pledge Drive goal, we knew who to call in to put us over the top-The Joy in the Morning staff. Both DJs Tiffany and Adam 12 have been spinning reggae for their fans for what seems like forever. If you’ve been to a reggae music show in Santa Cruz at any venue for the past decade, no doubt you’ve seen or heard them there too. ‘Many are called but few are chosen” couldn’t be further from the reggae reality of today. Massive amounts of support came over the phones and our website; faster than you can say “satta massagana” they raised enough funds to put us over the top.
