Everyone is waiting for KZSC’s spring program schedule – some more patiently than others. Starting next week you can set aside your own record collection and hear gypsy music, surf, blues, calypso and more. Many of our regular shows that have become favorites are moving to new days and times.
Have a favorite show you can’t do without? Leave your comments, wishes and dreams below. Our new program schedule begins Monday, April 11th.
I’d like to hear more blues music in the mornings. And I LOVE Wiki Wednesday!
Good news-KZSC will be adding a 3-hour blues block on Monday mornings…
May I just say, the transition from Wiki Wiki Wednesday into Sex, Dope and Cheap Thrills makes every Wednesday morning feel PERFECT!
Also, I <3 No Noobs Allowed! Just sayin'.
But I remember a dark cabaret/twisted circus/gypsy music show KZSC had… got anything like that in store for the future?
There will be a new program called “Gypsy Caravan” on Wednesday afternoons from 2-4. The idea is to feature all types of gypsy music including traditional, jazz and even contemporary styles. Hope you like it.
Keep Sitar Wars! i love that show! preferably at a time later in the evenings like it was in winter quarter
…unfortunately the student who programs Sitar Wars is unable to continue. KZSC does have a couple new world music shows on the schedule for spring.
The reggae shows on KZSC are the bomb. The selectahs are top notch. Keep ‘em coming!
The crazy chick with the country show is my favorite. (Ok, dimentia with saddle up) We chase it around the schedule here in our office so we can get a two to three hour break from pop music. Keep her around, and keep playing that music!
“Saddle Up Pardner” now moves to Thursday afternoons at 4.
Keep up the great work everyone!! I miss being at KZSC soooo bad! I just might be moving back up there.
See ya Michael! Keep rockin Great 88
