The wait is over! The Beastie Boys’ 8th album, Hot Sauce Committee Part Two was just released on May 3, 2011. The boys are back in this edgy, intriguing, and experimental album. It sounds a bit like the Beasties and the Gorillaz had a baby due to the transitions and electronic influences that shine through. However, the dope, or should I say ill, nay, sick rhymes of the legendary Mike D, MCA and Ad-Rock are there to make sure you know what you’re listening to…and that’s them. They keep it current with tracks featuring Nas and the ever fabulous Santigold, along with an evolved version of the beats we all love and know. This album is a definite must hear and it’s available on iTunes, Amazon, you name it.
