Who doesn’t love an old man singing about a cheatin’ girlfriend, hard times, or some good whiskey? Blues has a deep history in music and here at KZSC. Over the summer, we got two bluesy shows you should check out, Stormy Tuesdays (Tues, 2-4pm) and Spoonful of Blues (Sundays, 8:30-10:30pm). Here’s a taste of the kind of blues you’ll hear on The Great 88: B.B. King, RL Burnside, Freddie King, Howlin’ Wolf, John Lee Hooker, G. Love and Special Sauce, and many more.
