Roaring Camp July 4th Celebration. Sack races, balloon toss, hula hoop contests and entertainment. July 4. Roaring Camp and Big Trees Railroad, 5355 Graham Hill Road, Felton. 831-335-4484, www.roaringcamp.com.
Scotts Valley Fourth. Annual parade along Scotts Valley parade. Celebration at Skypark starting at 3 p.m. with music, food and other activities. This is the only LEGAL fireworks display in Santa Cruz County at 9:15 p.m. www.svchamber.org. And as most already know, Santa Cruz seems to have a lot of do-it-yourself fireworks displays that happen at many of the beaches. Please have a safe, sane and happy holiday celebration!
