2011 marks the 10-year anniversary release of the soundtrack to the Coen Brothers’ film, “Oh Brother Where Art Thou?” The soundtrack not only sold over 7 million copies, it won several Grammy awards in 2001 including Album of the Year. Featuring performances by Emmylou Harris, Alison Krauss, Gillian Welch (who made a brief cameo in the film), Ralph Stanley and others, “Oh Brother Where Art Thou?” sparked a renewed interest in American roots music.
