The summer has been littered with great music across the country. Music festival after music festival, maybe I saw you at one.
With the summer coming to close (a summer in Santa Cruz means a foggy one.) where are you going to get the last music festival fix? How about the Hardly Strictly Bluegrass one in SF (its free too!) at the end of the month. Now, don’t dismiss this one based on the title. Its ‘hardly strictly bluegrass’, not ‘strictly bluegrass’. Some of the names playing include: The Devil Makes Three, DeVotchKa, Those Darlins, Robert Plant & the Band of Joy, Broken Social Scene, The Civil Wars, The Blind Boys of Alabama, and sooooooo many more. A good range for everyone in the family.
