Old Blind Dogs Tues Sep 27th

Old Blind Dogs, one of Scotland’s premiere folk bands, will be appearing Tuesday, September 27th at 7:30pm at Don Quixote’s, 6275 Hwy 9, Felton CA (831) 603-2294. They’ve been performing for 19 years, have released 10 CDs, and have won the prestigious Scots Trad Music Award as “Folk Band of the Year” twice. Unfortunately, their fiddler Jonny Hardie was denied a visa for this tour, but sitting  in for him will be multiple All-Ireland Champion fiddler, flute player and singer Claire Mann. They sing and play tunes with enthusiasm and a full array of instruments, including pipes, fiddle, whistles, bouzouki, guitar and percussion. Presented by the Celtic Society of the Monterey Bay.
