Sonic explorers Three Metre Day from Toronto will be visiting KZSC for a live interview during the Backroads show on Sunday, Nov 6, 2011 between noon and 2pm. Three Metre Day’s original compositions are highly textural in nature, blending folk and jazz elements and their debut CD “Coasting Notes” was released a few days ago. The band includes Don Rooke (guitars), Michelle Willis (vocals and pump organ), and Hugh Marsh (violin, keyboards). They’ll be performing at the Kuumbwa Jazz Center in Santa Cruz, CA at 7:30pm that Sunday evening.
