Last week, Jay-Z’s clothing line “Rocawear” announced a new T-Shirt design would go on sale Friday the 11th. The T-shirt featured the slogan “Occupy all Streetz” and sold for $22 online. Seeing as the profits of Jay-Z’s newest T-shirt would not go to the occupy movement but rather to this millionaire’s pocket alarmed many fans and critics who said this was exploitation of the 1% at its finest. Jay-Z has taken down the T-shirt and his online store no longer holds any trace of the design.
