It was 35 years ago this Thanksgiving that The Band performed what they called their farewell concert, “The Last Waltz”. Filmed by Martin Scorsese, it featured guests like Eric Clapton, Ringo Starr, Van Morrison, Bob Dylan, Neil Young and many other 70′s superstars. To get a jump on Thanksgiving specials, The Great 88 will feature “The Last Waltz” along with holiday favorite “Alice’s Restaurant” on our Triple Decker Tuesday show this week. Tune in starting at 6 AM on KZSC. Turkey optional.
