The White Album Ensemble returns to The Rio Theatre in Santa Cruz for their 8th annual holiday show run of Beatles music. This year they’ll be performing “The “White Album” in its entirety (and in sequential order) December 29th and “Revolver”, followed by “Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band” on December 30th. There will be guests like the Barry Phillips String Quartet (Barry performed with Paul McCartney, Ringo Starr, and Eric Clapton at the “Concert for George Harrison”), the Mind Over Matter Horns, the ‘Honey Pies” vocal duet and more. The event also features a raffle benefiting Guitars, not Guns, and the MusicsCool scholarship fund. Truly an “only in Santa Cruz” event with music starting both nights at 8 pm.
