He’s mastered such a wide variety of instruments that Acoustic Guitar magazine refers to David Lindley not as a multi-instrumentalist but instead as a “maxi-instrumentalist”. Lindley holds cult status in a lot of areas: supreme sideman for the likes of Jackson Browne and Linda Ronstadt; world music visionary; band leader of El Rayo X…the list goes on. Through it all, he’s also managed to keep his polyester shirt collection and humor intact. David Lindley returns to Santa Cruz Wednesday, January 11th for two shows at The Kuumbwa at 7 and 9 pm.
