Calling all Johnny Cash fans! Ring of Fire, arguably one of the most famous Cash songs, is also the title track of a “best of” album released by Columbia in 1963. On this day, January 11th, in 1964, Ring of Fire became the first country album to reach the #1 position in the Billboard charts, paving the way for other country stars to gain the recognition that has made them legends today.
