Get an early start to your St. Patrick’s Day celebrations by joining the Black Brothers Band on Sat, March 10th at 8pm at Don Quixote’s in Felton, CA. Brothers Shay and Michael are acclaimed Irish singers, story-tellers and instrumentalists, covering a wide repertoire including ballads, music hall ditties, and sea shanties as well as the works of contemporary writers. The band includes fiddler Bobbi Nikles, button accordionist and Irish step dancer Aislin Roche, cellist Myrna Joy, and keyboardist Bryan Seet, so expect not only song, but dancing and high-energy jigs and reels. They’ll also be appearing a week later on Sun, March 18th at 7pm at the Chautauqua Hall in Pacific Grove, CA. Presented by the Celtic Society of the Monterey Bay.
