The Santa Cruz Bluegrass Fair is scheduled on Saturday, May 5th from noon till 5 pm at the Duck Pond Stage in San Lorenzo Park, next to the County Courthouse in Santa Cruz. Sponsored annually by the Santa Cruz Bluegrass Society (aka Northern California Bluegrass Society) since 1987, this FREE event features four bands in concert (Harmony Grits, Bean Creek, The Abbott Brothers, and Earthquake Country) and lots of jamming. Bring your instruments to join in, along with a blanket or low-backed chair, hat and sunscreen, and enjoy a low-key afternoon of free entertainment.
