The Jewish diaspora, the African diaspora and the Gypsy/Roma diaspora have all produced truly amazing musical traditions. Just try and imagine our little blue pearl without the magic of their hearts and souls making music all these centuries. Without these scattered peoples our world would nearly be a musical desert. History has often been unkind, but their spirits have carried through to one and all, united in music.
