Robert Johnson Special Monday

How big of an influence on popular music was Robert Leroy Johnson? He was inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame during its opening, 48 years after his death. Although during his life his records sold poorly, musicians have been covering his material for decades. There are legends about his meeting at the crossroads to make a deal with the devil but it’s a fact that without Robert Johnson, blues and rock would not sound the same today. Join KZSC as we lead into the Santa Cruz Blues Festival weekend by celebrating the legacy of Robert Johnson Monday, May 21st during the “It’s All Good” program beginning at 6 AM.
