Rock and roll with Hawaiian musician Henry Kapono at Kuumbwa Jazz Wednesday June 20th. A prolific composer of the Pacific, Henry Kapono was a part of the California/Hawaii sound of the late 1970s in the band Cecilio & Kapono. Henry has been performing solo since 1981. Join in at the Kuumbwa Jazz Center hot spot in downtown Santa Cruz as Henry reminds us to “Dream” and lets our “Love Shine” as he brings the sweet sounds of the Islands to us here in Santa Cruz. Showtime June 20th is 7 pm.
