Cormorant, a little known but massively talented quartet from the Bay Area, have just released their newest album “Earth Diver”, and Metal Sucks has an exclusive full album stream of the incredible record!

In case you’ve never heard of Cormorant, here’s how they describe themselves via their Bandcamp page:

“Cormorant play a unique form of progressive black metal, rooted in folk music and 70s hard rock. They have released an EP “The Last Tree” and a full-length “Metazoa.” In late 2011, they unleashed their second full-length album “Dwellings,” which promised a darker, more nuanced sound. The band is a 100% self-funded labor of love.”

I personally saw them open for jazz-metal band Shining (who are awesome in their own right) last year in San Francisco, and I was simply blown away. These guys kick some serious ass.

If you feel the need to support this band (which you totally should), you can buy their album and merch on their Bandcamp page, or simply “like” their Facebook page.
