The new album by Thee Oh Sees has been charting very well at KZSC since it arrived in the mail. Thee Oh Sees have always gotten a lot of love from KZSC djs, and this album is an amazing addition to their already outstanding body of work. Here’s a super cool song off of their album entitled King’s Nose:

4. GREYS – If Anything
5. FELICE BROTHERS – Favorite Waitress

While I am very excited that the Antlers released a new record, it is nowhere near as amazing as their last two. Their previous records, Hospice and Burst Apart, set a very high bar for Familiars. While there are plenty of good songs on the record it is not as consistently great of an album as fans of the Antlers have come to expect from them. Here is one of the stand out tracks, Surrender.

Gold-Bears new album is some really fun, catchy pop rock off of Slumberland records. The record, entitled Dalliance, is a very logical addition to the Slumberland line up. It’s got great fuzzy, punky guitars with sweet pop-y vocals thrown on top. It goes well as a kind of lighter cousin of the some of the other bands on the Slumberland roster, like Terry Malts or Joanna Gruesome. The album comes out June 3rd, but you’ll likely hear it over the KZSC airwaves throughout this week. I really dig this record. It’s definitely worth checking out!

Here’s a song off of it called For You:
