KZSC is proud to announce our brand new website design! We’ve added a few new features and given the whole site a much-needed update. For those interested, we’re now running fully on WordPress and have left Concrete 5 behind. Since we’re all blogging, it made sense to bring everything together and WordPress does that quite nicely.

Love the new design? Like the new features? Did we leave anything out? Do you have any suggestions? Let us know what you think in the comments below.

Porterpalooza LIVE-ALL DAY on KZSC’s Online-Only Side Stream!

Porterpalooza is an annual event put on by Residential Life at Porter College. It’s a chance to showcase all of the talent concentrated at Porter plus innumerable bands and performers from across the UCSC campus, all of whom come out to play for free at Porter College. Ranging from acoustic indie songwriters to hip-hop ensembles to screaming rock balladeers and everything in between, it’s evident that the people of Porter know how to have a good time.

Welcome to the new edition of the KZSC blog. I’m really excited for everyone who reads this to see what we have in store. But before we get to that, we’d love to know what you’d like there to be in store. Comments are turned on for the blog, and we’re into them. Let us know what you’d like to see here – what sort of features you would want to read, who you want to know more about, what kind of things you aren’t getting from local media coverage that we can try and do on a different scale.
