Recently, it was my great pleasure to visit MIT's, 88.1, WMBR. It has three studios, AND contains, what has to be, one of the largest music libraries in all of college radio, with more than 100,000 LPs and a similar number of CDs in their library! WMBR's show, Pipeline! is celebrating 25 years of live & local rock music programming with a series of 13 shows, featuring 80 acts, Sept. 12th through Oct. 12th, 2016.

KZSC is losing one of its very best DJs, just as we head into our fall schedule. Dylan Music (AKA DJ Oy-Dog) of Muzikal Jewz has to end his seven-year run with The Great 88. The good news is that he has a job in radio. The bad news is the commute back to our side of the Monterey Bay is just too long.

The human joy factory known as, Quintron will load his customized B-3 Hammond organ into The Crepe Place, and play that beautiful machine with wild abandon on Sunday, May 24th. You will be compelled to dance, since it will be the only way to match the energy of his performance. Oh yes, everyone will sweat!
