Bay Area’s Unknown Industries presents HYPHEDELIC, featuring artists such as LAKIM, Dailon, and Lewk. Unknown Industries is a community oriented production team based in Northern California who strive to showcase forward thinking WestCoast bass culture.

LAKIM (VIRGINIA):

Hailing from Lynchburg, Virginia, LAKIM has been steadily making a name for himself in the electronic scene. His sound is an ever-shifting blend of crisp drum patterns, dreamy synths, and lush vocal chops. LAKIM really started to make waves in 2012, when his stellar remixing skills caught the attention of renowned beat collective, Soulection. Since then, he has continued to expand and evolve his style over multiple featured releases with the label and successful collaborations with fellow Soulection artists like Mr. Carmack and Esta.

DAILON (SF):

Dylan Flach (aka DAILON) is a uniquely diverse, dynamic, and genre defying electronic music producer currently based in the hills outside of San Francisco, CA. He began his live performance career in 2009 and has since headlined countless shows across the US, as well as sharing the stage with major artists such as Tycho, Herobust, XXYYXX, Gladkill, and more. DAILON gained much of his recognition and popularity through Soundcloud, steadily receiving support from outlets like Majestic Casual, Darker Than Wax, and Soulection. After adding the element of live keys to his set in 2013, and recently releasing his debut effort “The Meaning” EP on the new Nor-Cal based label Raw Data, DAILON is certainly one to watch this year and beyond.

Lewk: (SF)

A Calgary, Alberta native who has made a home in San Francisco, LEWK’s style is rooted in the trap-centric bedroom beats that permeate the Bay Area underground scene. His latest tracks have received far-reaching support and he is ready to shake things up with the release of his debut EP next month. LEWK’s artistic yet apathetic approach to dance music is refreshing, keeping listeners engaged and craving the next song.
